My jewelry designing began in an unexpected fashion. At an auction, some stunning vintage crystal and glass beads caught my eye, and not knowing why, I bought them all. Stringing some of the beads into a necklace, I wore my purchase to work. I soon began to experiment with more complex designs, patterns, and materials. I found that the process was highly motivating, and an extremely novel method of expressing myself on a creative level. After receiving many compliments from colleagues, family and friends, I sought a larger audience, selling my work in local shops, art fairs and privately; a business had been born.

Over the past few years I have enrolled in jewelry courses, learning new techniques and styles and incorporating them into my designs. It is essential to undertake new processes to keep one’s work fresh and innovative. Even over the years that I have been making jewelry, the constant evolution of my designs is quite remarkable. Still, I find that collaboration between myself and the customer to create a piece that is uniquely theirs and at the same time a product of my own artistry is the most important and fulfilling experience. Jewelry design has become an integral, rewarding, and enjoyable part of my life. I offer you these creations, and I hope that you enjoy the experience.
